There isn't a single standard price for wedding entertainment because the cost depends heavily on what you're booking. A ceremony-only soloist is naturally going to cost less than a four-piece band performing for several hours, while a full-day package involving live musicians, DJ and MC will be different again.
Your quote may be influenced by the number of musicians, length of coverage, number of setups or locations, sound equipment requirements, DJ or MC services, travel and any special musical requests. When comparing quotes, look beyond the final number and check what is actually included.
While there is no standard price, for a full day entertainment (about 6 - 7 hours) prepare to budget at least $2,000.
